Please welcome Tinkerbell, a shining star who's been given a second chance at life, courtesy of a marketplace ad where her owner was giving her away for free! A compassionate hero sprang into action and rescued her, holding onto Tink for a few precious days until our foster family stepped in to provide love and care. Upon rescue, Tinkerbell's condition was heartbreaking, but her foster mom's loving touch and dedication worked wonders. With a courageous heart, she underwent an emergency haircut, shedding not just her matted fur but also the pain of neglect. A flea collar had been embedded in her fur, almost choking the life out of her, but thankfully, it's been removed. We're nurturing her back to health with probiotics and endless TLC.

All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

 

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
