Huey is a super sweet mushy boy who everyone instantly falls in love with. Huey was brought into the shelter as a stray and was in need of some medical treatment and TLC while he awaited to find his furever family. Unfortunately, after a couple of months, despite his adorable pictures and videos displaying his silly, affectionate personality, Huey still found himself at the shelter. On April 11th, he was pulled into rescue and placed into a foster home. Huey could definitely use some basic training/manners, however, he is potty trained, crate trained and aims to please! He has done very well with both small and big, as well as both male and female dogs. If there is another dog in Huey's adopter's home, he really hopes they are his size or even bigger and love to play as much as he does!

Every day is a new experience for Huey (see videos!) as he learns how to navigate through how life SHOULD be for a pup Huey has a ton of love to give and will keep you smiling every day. Located in Cape May, NJ.

All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
