Please Welcome Pudgy to the TLCAR Family. We pulled him from the AC shelter on New Year's Eve! Pudgy is a very sweet older guy (about 7 yo) who has had a bumpy road of being homeless. He started out in Wyoming, went to Delaware then to Camden, NJ. After Camden, he was found as a stray outside an elementary school in Atlantic City. Number for chip was out of service & the shelter mailed a letter to the latest address on chip with no contact back. His foster Mom reports he is very sweet & friendly. Listens well to commands, potty trained and does not make a peep in his crate. Even overnight! We are not sure about his breed but he most resembles a lab mix. He has lab fur and snout. His legs are very short tho and his paws are small. We will continue to update as he settles in more. He is dog friendly and doing well with his 2 new foster dog siblings. All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
