Meet Happy, whose name certainly suits him well Happy was pulled from the shelter after he was a frequent visitor there & for the last time, his owners never came to pick him back up. But that’s OK! Being deserted + 6 weeks in the shelter has not tainted this little guy’s spirit!!! Happy is a 1 year old pup who has a super sweet personality & LOVES other dogs! He has some puppy energy, but has been doing great with his daily walks and has turned out to be an awesome jogging partner. Happy is potty trained, crate trained, neutered, UTD on all shots & has a squeaky clean bill of health. All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
