1 year old Bear was pulled from a local shelter yesterday. His foster mom reports that even though they are just getting to know each other she can't help but say how amazing he is! He was perfect in the car and sleeps in his crate with out a peep! He seems to be house trained and enjoys his walks. For how stocky he is she was surprised how well he seems on a leash! Bear was just labeled as a mix breed but he seems to have Shepherd mix features with a plusher coat. Whatever he is mixed with he is one handsome guy!

All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

 

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
