~~This is Jax. He is a shy, goofy boy looking for a family of his own. He is about 6 months old, 48 pounds, and stands about 18 inches to his shoulder. Jax prefers adults to introduce themselves slowly, since he is shy, but once he knows you, he loves you! He wiggles his little hiney with excitement and wants to give tons of kisses. He loves all children (but sometimes can be a bull in a China shop) and he gets along well with other dogs and cats. He wants to please and will work for treats . All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
