Meet Anya – Your Future Best Friend! Anya is a beautiful 3-year-old pup weighing around 50 pounds, and she’s everything you could want in a companion. This chunky meatball is dog-friendly and is currently thriving in a foster home with a small dog, showing just how gentle and adaptable she is. Anya truly loves everyone she meets—her sweet, friendly personality makes her impossible not to fall for. Anya was originally adopted from a local shelter last year after being found as a stray, with no one ever coming to reclaim her. Her adopter stepped up to save her life and get her out of the shelter, giving her the safety and love she deserved. Unfortunately, she isn’t able to keep Anya long-term. All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

 

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
